Dear Friends,
I hope this finds you having had a great Christmas and a good start to the New Year.
If you don’t yet have plans for tomorrow, can I remind you that Out and About’s Annual Church Treasure Hunt is taking place! Meet at 9.30am outside St. Peter’s Church before heading over to the Knutsford and Tatton Park area for a 5-6 mile flat, gentle walk. Have fun solving the clues, enjoy a cafe stop halfway and then have lunch and do a spot of shopping in beautiful Knutsford afterwards, if you wish. This is suitable for all members of the family but, please note, stout walking shoes are needed for Tatton Park path. For more info, contact David Moffoot (tel: 01204 770994)
There’s lots coming up this year at St. Peter’s Halliwell to be excited about so please just take a few moments to check out our notices by clicking on this link:
We hope to see you in one of our services on Sunday but, if you are unable to join us, our Sunday 10.30am service from St. Peter’s Church will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube. To watch it on YouTube go to:
As always, if you have any queries about any aspect of the life of our church, please do not hesitate to contact me in the Parish Office (Monday – Friday from 9.30am-3pm).
Thank you.
Kind regards
Amanda

Dear Friends,
I hope this finds you ok and that you have kept safe and well during the extremely cold week we have had!
We have already circulated details of all our services and events taking place across the parish this Christmas (and flyers are still available in churches) but here is the link to the flyer you can still use and pass on to friends, family and your neighbours too:
There are carol services for you to enjoy at all our churches this Sunday, including our parish-wide Candlelit 9 Lessons and Carols taking place at 7pm in St. Peter’s Church. During this service we will have a 40-strong Christmas choir, together with wonderful musicians (including the organ and brass ensemble) so it promises to be a great evening and everyone is invited! For more details, just click on this link:
