Meet the parish team
Rev’d Alan Saunders
Vicar
Alan rejoined St. Peter’s in September 2022, having previously served here as a curate in the mid-2010’s. As Vicar, he has overall responsibility for the parish, and he is currently settling in, meeting old friends and new.
Sam Wolstencroft
CAP Centre Manager
Our CAP office has been running for 12 years and Sam has worked as our CAP Manager (Christians Against Poverty) having previously been our Debt coach. She works with clients and coordinates our team of support workers.
Amanda Blease
Parish Business Manager
A member of St. Peter’s Church, Amanda joined our staff team in September 2009. Amanda’s responsibility is day to day administration for both the work of the parish as a whole, St. Peter’s Church and the Parish Centre.
Elian Winstanley
Churchwarden
Elian has been a member of St. Peter’s since 1987 and was elected Churchwarden in 2018. He’s also our resident “techie” and is heavily involved in developing our AV support and live-streaming.
Phil Weaver
Churchwarden
Phil has been a member of St. Peter’s since 2004 and was elected Warden in 2021. Previously to this, he served as our Treasurer. Another of Phil’s duties is that of Gift Aid Secretary. Phil also volunteers at Urban Outreach and serves on our Welcome Team.
