ST. ANDREW'S

CHURCH

Hope Centre

This year we are celebrating the 90th anniversary of the opening of our building on Tattersall Ave. We have plans for a weekend of celebrations on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June,
and you are very welcome to join us.

There will be an Open Day on the Saturday 29th from 11am to 4pm with a free exhibition of history and photographs, with drinks and cakes being served. Come along and share your memories, and St Andrew’s hospitality, and see if you recognise people on the photos. We are really excited that we will be welcoming Johnson Fold School Choir to sing some songs for us as part of our Saturday event.

We are really pleased to be welcoming Rev Canon Tony Butterworth to speak at our Sunday morning Celebration Service at 10.30am.

Do you have memories of St. Andrew’s, the Hope Centre or the Delph Hill Mission? We’d love to hear them and maybe, with your permission, share them. If you’d like to send us your memories email us by clicking the button

St. Andrew’s is the smallest of the four churches that make up the parish and we are about to celebrate 90 years of faithful worship and ministry. We have a local lay leadership team of six.

St. Andrew’s enjoys good working partnerships with local community groups including Urban Outreach Bolton and Johnson Fold Community School.

If you are new to the area and looking for a place to worship, or maybe looking for friendship, help and support as you settle into the community, St. Andrews is a great place to come and has a fellowship which includes many who live on the estate. Why not give us a try?
