• This Sunday we start a new sermon series at all our morning services across the parish and at our 6.30pm evening service too.
• Tickets can now be reserved for the upcoming production of ‘If Prison Walls Could Speak’ by Artless Theatre Company in conjunction with Release International.

Dear Friends,

I hope this finds you having had a lovely week and looking forward to the weekend. 

I would just like to highlight the following events taking place:

• Our young people have two more fundraising events for DTI (Dreaming the Impossible) taking place this weekend!  The first is a car wash taking place outside St. Peter’s Church TOMORROWfrom 10am-12noon.   Additionally, on Sunday, Buy a Butty will take place in the Parish Centre from 12noon-2pm. Everybody welcome so please do pop along and support these events if you can.  Thank you. 
• Some of our young people are taking part in their Gold DofE practice expedition this weekend, from Saturday until Monday evening.  Please pray that they have a great time and are kept safe and well, particularly in the hot weather.

I would just like to highlight to you the following events taking place this weekend: Cafe on the Green takes place TOMORROW in St. Peter’s Primary School from 9.30am- 2pm. All welcome so please join us for delicious food and good company. Proceeds to Operation Smile. Cake sales will take place following all our church services this Sunday to raise funds to take our young people to DTI (Dreaming the Impossible) this summer.  Please remember to bring some cash to buy a cake or two! I would just like to highlight the following from this week’s notices: On Sunday it is World Focus Sunday in St. Peter’s Church. Our guest speaker at both our 10.30am and 6.30pm services will be Dr. Susanna from Poland, one of the Release International partners.  See the front page for more details.  Everybody welcome at these services. If you aren’t already aware, IRONMAN takes place in Bolton this weekend.  Please bear this in mind when planning getting to church or Lighthouse on Sunday – we know that road closures and diversions will affect many of you!
