Latest Notices – Sunday 2nd October 2022

Dear Friends,

I hope this finds you having had a great week.

I would just like to highlight the following from the notices to you:

  • Our new vicar, Alan, had his licensing service in St. Peter’s Church last Sunday evening.  It really was a wonderful celebration so if you missed it – or you just want to see it again – here is the link:

    https://youtu.be/lRomG1jt9Fo

  • This Sunday is World Focus Sunday in St. Peter’s Church and we will have a guest speaker from Changing Destiny joining us at both our morning and evening services.  One of the songs we will be singing at the 10.30am service is probably new to most of us, but was chosen because it fits in well with the theme of the service.  If you would like to listen to it before Sunday to familiarise yourself with it, follow this link: https://youtu.be/_CSzEviUc_o

Dear Friends,

I hope that you are well.

As we continue to mourn our Queen, please note that St. Peter’s Church will be open again tonight from 5.30pm-6.30pm for private prayer.  Also, as the Queen’s funeral is scheduled for Monday, please note that no activities will take place in the Parish Centre and the Parish Office will be closed that day.  We will be open as usual from Tuesday next week.

You will have seen advertised in previous notice sheets that tomorrow evening at 7.30pm in St. Peter’s Church there will be a production of ‘If Prison Walls Could Speak’ by Artless Theatre Company in conjunction with Release International.  This brilliant, immersive production promises to be thought-provoking and moving so don’t worry if you haven’t had chance to get your ticket yet, these are £5 and will be available on the door so do feel free to just turn up.

There’s a lot happening across our Parish so for more details, just click on this link:
