Please note, this is Dave Brae’s last Sunday here at St. Peter’s so please join us as we give thanks for him and and pray for him, Emma, James and Hannah at our parish-wide 6.30pm service in St. Peter’s Church – everybody welcome.
Also, if you haven’t yet made plans for tomorrow, a reminder that the next Out and About walk is taking place, to Crook O’ Lune from Caton (8 miles and moderate). Walk along the River Lune and look for bluebells in the woods. Leave 9.30am from outside St. Peters Church, with a packed lunch. Contact Jane Heath for more info on 07472926650/[email protected].

Please note, it’s not too late to enter our fabulous Great Coronation Cake Competition taking place on Sunday! This is open to everyone in the parish and beyond. Just bring your entries to the Parish Centre by MIDDAY on Sunday (after the Lighthouse session) or just join us for an hour of coffee, cakes, quizzing and activities. Our amazing Lighthouse children will also be doing a ‘show and tell’ about their Coronation session. Everybody welcome

I hope you have had a good week and are looking forward to a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.
A gentle reminder that TONIGHT at 7.30pm in St. Peter’s Church we have the Really Awful Orchestra in concert. This orchestra is actually VERY GOOD! They will perform a selection of music including film and TV themes, pop favourites, light classics, Latin and jazz. Refreshments available. Tickets are £10 and can be bought on the door and everybody is welcome so do join us if you can..

If you are yet to make plans for TOMORROW, why not pop along to Café on the Green? This takes place from 9am-2pm in St. Peter’s Primary School (Limefield Rd, BL1 6LA) and has some great food on offer! Proceeds go towards supporting work in Kenya, providing operations for children with cleft lips and palates. Everybody welcome.

I hope you are keeping well and looking forward to Easter and the Bank Holiday weekend..
A reminder that today, Maundy Thursday, we have a service in St. Peter’s Church at 7.30pm and tomorrow, Good Friday, there is a service at 10.30am in St. Peter’s Church and ‘An Hour by the Cross’ – a reflective service with readings and worship – from 2pm-3pm in Smithills Chapel. Everybody is welcome at all services so please do join us.

Just a reminder that Bolton Home for Good Support Group meets TOMORROW, Saturday, from 12.30pm- 2pm in St. Peter’s Parish Centre. This is a group for adopters, foster and kinship carers and their families. All welcome to come along for a bring and share lunch, chill out or chat and supervised activities.
