Dear Friends,

I hope that you are keeping well.

A gentle reminder of what’s happening TOMORROW, Saturday:

Out and About Walk:  10am start, meet on Smithills Dean Rd at the turning to Smithills Hall.  A local walk finishing in time for the Smithills Christmas Market.

Smithills Christmas Market: 12.30pm-3.30pm

***Important notice from John and Adele on behalf of Smithills Fellowship, please read.

‘ As you will be aware the weather forecast tomorrow is going to be a major challenge with the predicted wind – Storm Daragh! So, we’ve made an advance contingency plan to MOVE and NOT CANCEL. We will lift the market and  move into St Peter’s Primary School (Limefield Road, BL1 6LA) for the same times, 12.30-3.30pm. We appreciate this will be a disappointment for many but please do still come along and support as there will still be plenty to join in with. There’ll be the outside beer marquee with local brews and mulled wine, a favourite for many, and food and drink inside with a range of foods and cakes to eat in or take away.  We’ll also have over 20 separate local craft sellers with plenty of individually made items and Christmas gifts. All will be accompanied by 5 choirs and, of course, Santa.  Do come and share some time with us. This event is a not-for-profit activity raising funds for Urban Outreach Bolton.’
